tropical, and unique" plants.
I specialize in the
cultivation of Plumeria, Bamboo, Bananas and Bougainvillea. I am
also a supplier of hydroponic growings systems, fertilizers and
nutrients. I have a full line of organic supplies that allow you
to grow all of your plants by natural means. I am an authorized
dealer for Dripworks ,
who sells drip irrigation and micro irrigation supplies including drip
emitters, sprayers, tubing, pumps, and filters.
What Makes my nursery different?
Midwest Aquatics and
Exotics only grows plants that are rare, tropical, or unique. I grow my
own plants, either from tissue cultures or from existing stock
which I propagate to produce a perfect
duplicate. I sell directly to my customers. I am
inspected by the USDA as a class A nursery to ensure my plants
are free of pests and disease. I am committed to my customers to
provide them with plants that are true to name, healthy, and free of
pests. All Midwest Aquatics and Exotics plants are grown by the mildest
means
possible. What this means to you is that I do not
use
any pesticides in my pest management program. I believe in
using all natural methods to control pests. I grow all of my
own stock by soil free methods which greatly reduces soil borne virus
and bacteria and infections. This allows me to control the quality of
my

tropical flowering plants, trees
and
vines you will discover
in my online store includes many popular tropical cultivars, and
also rare, hard to find
varieties which should be of
particular interest to tropical collectors. As always my
emphasis is on developing a full, well branched root
system, healthy dense celled foilage, and intense full colored flowers

Midwest Aquatics and Exotics tropicals are my life. I strive to
maintian my plants to their fullest potential. I like to help
mycustomers
keep thier collections at their peak health also. Because of this I
offer my customers specialized services. These services allows my
customers to add to thier collections, or build them at your pace and
to your specifications. I also offer hydroponics services which is a
new service, I also carry a full line of hydroponics systems,
nutrients, lighting and supplies.

Introducing the newest addition to
the Midwest Aquatics and Exotics Family!
Ladang Musaceae
This is my Banana Plantation site where you can find everything about
growing bananas.
Important facts:
- I maintain a small
family-run
nursery in Northern Kentucky. I
offer several varieties of rare, tropical, and unique plants
which are cared for individually and by hand.
- My healthy plants are shipped
bareroot, 4"pots and 1 gallon pots.
- I ship within the
United States and internationally (All international orders must be
quoted and approved before being placed. Please email me for details. )
- Orders are shipped twice a week.
Once on Monday and once on Tuesday to ensure domestic shipments arrive
within 2-3 days.
- Please unpack shipments as soon as they
arrive to prevent additional stress on the plant.
- Effective December 2009 a $50.00
minimum was implimented by my suppliers on all hydroponics and
garden supplies. I am sorry for any inconveinence, this is out of my
control.
- There is no mimimum order
requirements for plant purchases, please continue to buy only what you
want.
